UM Art Gallery, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia

Since its inception, the university has been collecting contemporary local art works from individuals and private organization. One whole floor at the new chancellery building is now the permanent home for the collection and new works by the university’s resident artists.

Aureol BeamSpots are used extensively to highlight many of the artworks. The beam shaper device is useful and flexible in providing a unique display quality on each artwork. Each artwork is framed with light to give a very focus rectangular projection not seen in other galleries.
